Kāhui Collective is a fashion movement, a collective of Māori, Pasifika and indigenous designers who actively support each other’s business and personal growth.
Founded in 2017 by Kiri Nathan, Kāhui Collective has grown into a first of its kind fashion community and movement. Kāhui continues to develop an eco-system which supports, mentors, educates and connects indigenous fashion entrepreneurs to the world.
Kāhui Collective initiatives include trade delegations to China, the Kāhui Māori fashion coalition with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, the Kāhui Collective Mentorship Programme, Te Āhuru Mōwai – Kāhui hub, Kāhui Toitū
sustainability commitment and the Kāhui Collective e-commerce platform. The focus now is to open the first permanent Kāhui Collective retail store and an innovation hub.
