Rainbow Valley Farm Organics is run by Stef and Rich, and brings organic, spray-free, fresh and preserved produce to local markets and online - think pickles, preserves, herbal teas, and fresh fruit and veg. We hold permaculture prinicples at the core of all of our practices, and are grateful to be katiaki of this whenua, providing organic kai both direct to the public and wholesale to restaurants. Rainbow Valley Farm is a beautiful property just outside of Matakana Village. Founded by permaculture legends Trish Allen and Joe Polaischer in 1988, it is now co-owned by Stef, Rich, Matthew and Waveney. The whakatuaki gifted to Rainbow Valley is Mā te whenua ka ora te tangata, mā te tangata ka ore te whenua (Through the land the people will be nourished, through the people the land will be nourished) - this is what we are are living and doing, and hoping to spread, every day.
