Hillside is an 18-seat restaurant in Wellington serving a seasonal vegetarian tasting menu shaped by what is growing in our garden and from local producers. We make as much as we can from scratch, from ferments and preserves to bread and ceramics, believing that thoughtful food begins long before it reaches the plate. Every decision, from paying a Living Wage to reducing waste, is guided by a simple philosophy: create something genuinely special without ever becoming stuffy.
