Taka means “taste" from the Gunditjmara language. Based in Narrm ( Melbourne), creators Niyoka Bundle - A Gunditjmara / Yuin woman from the south west coast of Victoria and the east coast of NSW & Vincent Manning a Manx man from the Isle of Man have created a Gin with key ingredients that have been foraged from around Narrm- Melbourne, and sourced from Indigenous wild harvesters, including via Natif Super Foods and Warndu. Taka Gin Co. Indigenous-owned and the first of its kind, our gin is a phytochemical feel-good fusion of native ingredients, local suppliers and flavourful compounds.
