MITA Creative has both a services and products functions, rooted in the values of whakapapa, te reo Māori, auahatanga, and kaitiakitanga. MITA's graphic design, illustration, and social media services bring te ao Māori to the forefront of projects and ideas. Whilst their products showcase what passion, purpose and culture look like from the perspective of two self-taught young Māori parents.

We are two self-taught young Māori parents that've propelled ourselves into a pakihi in the hopes of creating a better lifestyle for our whānau. As graduates of kōhanga reo and kura Māori, we value whakapapa, te reo Māori, auahatanga, and kaitiakitanga. Together, we hold the following qualifications: Bachelor of Health Sciences, Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Māori Visual Art. In this way, we find ways to imbue our values, education, and social context into our design.
