Artist - The types of art practices that I value, embrace the potentiality of social spaces to articulate moments in time and wherever possible are concerned with local issues. In order to make this my default approach, I have recently reframed my practice as one that employs co-curation to activate and reclaim spaces for individual and collective expression.

Artist - Having a background in documentary research, film production and project management and transitioning from performance in my creative life led me into studying toward a Master of Philosophy (Art and Design) at AUT University where I completed a thesis titled Homeless doesn't mean hopeless. Balancing study, work and my ongoing collaboration with the Auckland Central Homeless Community and other like minded artists, led me to realise that a social practice means for me, is a sustained commitment to empowering people to have agency and authority of their own lived experiences.
