Ngā Aho Whakaari (NAW) is a legacy, non profit organisation dedicated to Māori In Screen.
As natural navigators, the pathway to success for Te Ao Māori in the screen industry is driven by our desire for succession, sustainability and self-determination. NAW has a three year strategy that focuses on tāngata, tikanga and rangatiratanga under the overarching goal of Mana Motuhake.
Our kaupapa is driven by indigenous industry influencers, passionate about the future of Māori storytelling through the mediums of film and media arts.
